The Pajama Program is a not-for-profit organization that provides new pajamas and books to children in need. There are children in Niagara who don't know the comforts of being tucked into a cozy bed and being read a bedtime story. It is the Pajama Program - Niagara Chapter's mission to provide a more loving environment for children in Niagara and give them hope for a better tomorrow. The Pajama Program has been going strong since the program's launch in November 2007. A personal thank you goes out to each and every one of you who has come on board as a supporter or volunteer of the program. Your donations and assistance help make a difference in the lives of children in need in our community. A big thanks to Sandi Campbell for incorporating the Pajama Program into her upcoming "Legendary Ladies Golf Classic Tournament"; to the Maycourt club for donating 50 percent of the proceeds from the 4th Annual Spring Fashion Show on April 13th; and to Geri Morrone of Meridian Credit Union for pledging to contribute part of the proceeds from the Niagara Homebuilders' Association Annual Ladies Night on April 23rd to the Pajama Program. More than 1500 pairs of pajamas and 1500 new books have been collected and distributed to Niagara's children since November 2007. We have set a goal of 5000 pajamas to be collected by Christmas 2008. The success of this program depends greatly on the support and cooperation of community-minded individuals, companies, schools and organizations. We need your support to help us reach our goal. If you would like more information about volunteering or holding a drive please phone 905-685-6100 or email niagara@pajamaprogram.org.
